I’m all about green smoothies with spinach, hemp protein and other green, nutrient packed veggies, but some times all I want is a pretty pink strawberry smoothie. The problem is, I feel as though I’m wasting the smoothie because I could pack so much more nutrient content into it if I got over the fact that I wanted a “pretty” smoothie. So when I woke up on New Years Day, I figured that a pretty pink smoothie would be a perfect transition from eating loads of junk food over the holidays to resuming a clean diet filled with fruits and vegetables. I wanted to add a little some thing extra to it so I decided to toss in some ground chia seed and a tablespoon of melted coconut oil. It was the perfect way to start  the new year, along with a great New Years day workout with my husband and these two monsters!

Creamy Pink Strawberry Smoothie

  1. 2 cups Almond Milk
  2. 1 cup Vanilla Greek Yogourt
  3. 4 cups Frozen Whole Strawberries
  4. 2 tbs Ground Chia Seeds
  5. 1 tbs Melted Coconut Oil
  1. Add all ingredient to your blender
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Enjoy!
