30 Days of Vegetables – Day 11

So far, the only vegetable that I have dared to use in my smoothies has been spinach. But I thought it was about time that I started branching out. In yet another attempt to finish the produce in my fridge, I managed to use 3 different vegetables in this smoothie! whoohoo!

Ingredients:

  • 2 Oranges
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Stalks Celery
  • 1/2 Carrot
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach

Note: You do not actually need measure the spinach. Grab a giant handful and throw it in your blender

Optional Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cups Plain greek yogurt or cottage cheese
  • 1 tbs Hemp hearts
  • 1 tbs Ground chia seeds

Directions:

  • Place all ingredients in your blender in the order listed
  • Blend until smooth
