The idea for this smoothie originated from an alcoholic beverage. :) I’m not a big drinker by any means. The taste of alcohol isn’t all that pleasant to me, and neither are sweet or syrupy drinks. After one drink I get sleepy, dehydrated and ultimately end up with a headache for the rest of the night. But this drink was a refreshing change to all of that. It was made from real fruit, felt hydrating on my tongue, and wasn’t sickeningly sweet… And by that I mean I couldn’t taste a huge amount of sugar, but it was definitely there!


Now, I wasn’t entirely sure about what was in this drink, but I was sure that there was mango in it! I also knew that this could quite possibly become my next favourite smoothie flavour! So the next day, I went to Costco and bought myself a massive bag of frozen mango! And here is the recipe….

3 Ingredient Mango Smoothie Recipe – click here to print

Servings: 2….or 1 extra large smoothie


  • 2 Oranges – peeled
  • 2 Bananas – ripe*
  • 2 cups Frozen Mango

Alternative Recipe: If you have run out of, or are sick of bananas…

  • 2 Oranges – peeled
  • 1 Apple
  • 2 cups Frozen Mango

Optional Ingredients: For added nutrition…

  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach
  • 2 tbs Ground Chia Seeds
  • 2 tbs Hemp Hearts


  • Add all ingredients to your blender in the order they are listed
  • Blend until smooth
  • Enjoy!
