This is my favourite smoothie recipe! It can be made a number of different ways…toppings…no toppings…it will always taste great!

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree… not pie filling
  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • 1 tbs Natural Maple Syrup * See note
  • 2 tbs Hemp Hearts, Ground Flax, or Ground Chia Seeds ( Add a combination of the three if you like)
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Pumpkin pie spice or 1/8 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Minced Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

*Note: For a higher protein smoothie, swap the maple syrup with a scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder… I have also used a strawberry protein powder and it didn’t alter the taste of the smoothie. Still tasted like “pumpkiny” goodness! If you don’t want to use a protein powder, but would like to increase the protein content of this smoothie, add a 1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt. Depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have, you may want to add another tbs of maple syrup with the yogurt.

For the Vanilla Spice Topping

  • Add all ingredients to a small bowl and mix by hand until everything is well incorporated
